The first TRR 318 Conference „Explaining Machines“ takes place on June 23 and 24 at the CITEC-Building of Bielefeld University. The key subject of this first edition of the conference is the social science research on explanatory AI.

The registration for the first international conference on "Explaining Machines" organized by TRR 318 is now open. Participants have the opportunity to discuss central questions of AI research with international and renowned guests.

The first public lecture organized by TRR 318 was attended by Transregio scientists and about 40 guests from universities, schools, political parties and associations, among others.

Touch, explore and manipulate: Around 15 students from the 11th grade at ESG Gütersloh attended the first workshop on artificial intelligence (AI) from TRR 318 at the University of Paderborn last Friday.
