Projekt A04: Ko-Konstruktion von dualitätsgestützten Erklärungen
Im Mittelpunkt des Projekts A04 stehen der Erklärgegenstand – das, was erklärt werden soll – und die verschiedenen Perspektiven, die auf ihn eingenommen werden können. So kann sich Erklärung eines technischen Artefakts (z.B. ein Hammer oder ein digitales Spiel) auf zwei unterschiedliche Aspekte beziehen: Zum einen können Erklärende die (im)materiellen Eigenschaften des Artefakts, das heißt seine Architektur beschreiben; zum anderen können sie Gründe dafür angeben, warum etwas so ist, wie es ist, und welche Ziele damit verfolgt werden und somit seine Relevanz beschreiben.
Nachdem die Forscher*innen aus Psychologie, Linguistik und Didaktik der Informatik diese Dualität in der ersten Förderphase am Beispiel eines Gesellschaftsspiels untersucht haben, wenden sie sich in der zweiten Förderphase digitalen Artefakten zu. Ihr Ziel ist es, eine didaktisch optimierte, kontextsensitive und dynamische Heuristik zu entwickeln, die beide Aspekte, also Architektur und Relevanz, berücksichtigt. Damit sollen Personen, denen etwas erklärt wird, befähigt werden, Erklärungen aktiv mitzugestalten – langfristig auch im Zusammenspiel mit erklärbarer künstlicher Intelligenz (XAI).
