International experts convened for TRR 318’s first conference, “Explaining Machines,” delivering talks on the social-science research on Explainable Artificial Intelligence.
In the workshop on teachable machines organized by the TRR 318 subproject "Öffentlichkeitsarbeit", people interested can explore AI for themselves. The workshop takes place as a part of the event series "50 Mosaics" of Paderborn University.
The first issue of the new TRR 318 newsletter, “Developing Explanations Together”, has now been released, focusing on the many studies and workshops that have been launched in the individual subprojects.
The first TRR 318 Conference „Explaining Machines“ takes place on June 23 and 24 at the CITEC-Building of Bielefeld University. The key subject of this first edition of the conference is the social science research on explanatory AI.
