Two researchers from the Transregio are traveling to Poland from 2 to 4 May to take part in the Behavioural Dynamics in Social Interactions workshop. In Krakow, researchers from two sub-projects from the “A - Explaining” project area will present their research on adaptive explanatory dialogs.
Psycholinguist Josephine B. Fisher from project "A01 - Adaptive Explaining” will present a poster on "Scaffolding". Amit Singh, psycholinguist from project "A05 - Real-time measurement of attention in human-robot explanatory dialog” presents a poster on “Contrastive Guidance in Human-Robot Interaction”.
“This is a great opportunity to present our research to an international audience of experts and to network,” says Josephine B. Fisher. “We are looking forward to the feedback from so many top-class scientists,” adds Amit Singh.
The Behavioral Dynamics in Social Interactions workshop aims to present and discuss the theoretical foundations for the study of human behavior in the context of interaction and the associated methodological commitments. In addition, current and new methods of data collection and analysis will be discussed, which contribute to the understanding of interpersonal interactions and enable new questions to be asked.
