TRR scientist Dimitry Mindlin (project B01) is traveling to Portugal to present the publication "Towards a Computational Architecture for Co-Constructive Explainable Systems" in a workshop on explainability engineering. The paper was written in collaboration with authors from projects A01, A02, A03, A05, B01, B05, C05 and C06. In the publication, the researchers present a software architecture for describing the basic components and their respective specific roles of self-explanatory systems. "We propose components and assign them to the MAPE-K model. It is a step towards realizing the ideas from the TRR," explains Dimitry Mindlin. The aim is to contribute to the development of frameworks that enable users to be involved in the explanation processes of AI systems. "Of course, it's great to get feedback from the community and gather input at the workshop," says Dimitry Mindlin. ICSE 2024 will take place in Lisbon (Portugal) from April 14 to 20, 2024.
