TRR 318 invites you to the GENIALE Science Festival at the Wissenswerkstadt Bielefeld. On November 22, visitors can gain insights into Transgregio's research through workshops, games, and experiments.
- Wissenshappen (“Knowledge bites”): At three stations, TRR 318 researchers will provide insights into different facets of explanation.
- Workshop „Wie KI die Welt sieht”(“How AI sees the world”): An image classifier distinguishes between cats and dogs and provides insights into how AI works.
- Mini golf with robots: With the support of augmented reality, participants teach a robot arm the perfect swing to reach the target.
- Cat hot dog game: The AI chatbot ChatGPT explains how AI works in a playful way.
- Sag was! (“Say something!”): An interactive experiment shows how AI reproduces differences in voices and makes them easier to explain.
Especially for schools: Workshop „Hausaufgabenhelfer KI?” (“AI as a homework helper?”): Students learn how to critically engage with language models such as ChatGPT and use them sensibly in their learning – instead of just copying ready-made answers.
