Questions about explainable technology (Project Ö)

The members of Project Ö communicate the findings of TRR 318’s interdisciplinary research projects with the general public. The focus here is on communication and exchange with society: following the principle of co-construction, the computer scientists and sociologists organize workshops with a wide range of groups, particularly schoolchildren and medical students, and later with stakeholders and policy makers. During these events, participants take on an active role and explore artificial intelligence systems in their own unique way. The goal of this public relations project is to bring awareness of the use of artificial intelligence to previously under-represented social groups.

In this video the project leaders present their view of co-construction.
