In this second issue of the public newsletter from Transregio, the focus is on artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics in the context of healthcare. Three project leads from TRR 318 will expand on these topics in online talks during the upcoming year. In the section “AI is…” computer scientist Prof. Dr.-Ing. Britta Wrede writes about implementing AI in the field of medicine, and in the section “What have I learned,” doctoral researcher Dominik Battefeld provides a glimpse into his experience collecting data at a clinic. This issue also includes a new section with recommended articles, videos, and audio for learning more about AI.
